SIGNALLING BY FATTY ACID DERIVATIVES AND
SPHINGOLIPIDS IN HEALTH AND DISEASE

CRC Integrated Research Training Group

The integrated graduate school aims at educating the young academics in the field of signal transduction by fatty acid derivatives and sphingolipids. The educational program with seminars, practical courses, colloquia, summer school and spring meeting focuses specifically on the subject matters of the SFB and is supplemented by courses on general matters. The close contact between principle investigators and PhD students, and the common education of medical and natural science students, intents to promote interdisciplinary integration, early independence and translational approaches.
